Ing.-Dipl. Daniel Pahr

Daniel Pahr is a PreDoc researcher at the Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien), where he works in the area of Computer Graphics. His academic work focuses on medical visualization and the development of innovative techniques for data physicalization.


He is an instructor for advanced courses such as Selected Chapters from Medical Visualization and Visualization 2. His notable publications include research on the physicalization of dynamic processes and the development of Vologram, an educational holographic sculpture for the physicalization of volumetric medical data. His diploma thesis, also focused on Vologram, explored the handcrafted creation of volumetric physicalizations for education. Pahr combines computer graphics with medical and educational applications contributing significantly to the field of scientific data visualization.
